Terms & Additional Information

  1. J = Junior (under 21), S = Senior (21 and over). Eligibility of participants determined by DET (Department of Education and Training) and DEEWR (Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations), however directors/partners, participants with level III qualifications or higher and casuals are ineligible.
  2. N = New, E = Existing. New employees are under 3 months full-time and under 12 months part-time or casual
  3. Payments made to you as arranged through your Australian Apprenticeship Centre; eligibility and conditions apply.
  4. There is no DET training subsidy for fee-for service traineeship arrangements. (For User Choice traineeships, please refer our home page, however these are subject to availability, contact JobSmart to confirm). Payments made to JobSmart as the Registered Training Organisation; eligibility and conditions apply. JobSmart fees and payment schedule is by negotiation. However, there is a sign-up training fee of $500 and subsequent fees are scheduled so that it reflects the training progression and incentive payments.
  5. For User Choice trainees enrolling in level II and III certificates, there is a tuition fee (refer the training contract and your AAC for further details) being the participant's contribution to the training. However, by negotiation this can be paid by the employer out of the DEEWR incentive. For fee-for-service training, the training fee is paid out of the DEEWR incentive by the employer, as negotiated.

Note: Prices are GST exempt.
